How to Switch to Dark Mode in Burp Suite 2.0
If you’re reading this, you were probably either in the middle of setting up Burp Suite on Ubuntu or had heard rumors of this mysterious “dark mode” and how “cool” and “easier on your eyes” it was. And let’s be honest, are you really a 1337 hax0r if you’re using the light theme?
Regardless of why you’re here, I’m sure you want me to stop talking about anything that isn’t teaching you how to switch Burp Suite 2.0 to dark mode. So, without further stretching out this article in order to hit Medium’s preferred/optimal article reading time length (which happens to be 7 minutes, and I’m sure I won’t hit that this time), please allow me to do just that. Which is to say, let’s do that thing you want to do now. Ahem.
Making the switch
Open up Burp Suite, and navigate to the User Options >> Display panel.
Click on this tiny little drop down menu that has a few cool options in it, none cooler than the ever-so-cleverly-named Darcula setting. Click on that one. The cool one.
